There are many kinds of SMA connectors, one is called SMA, the other is RP-SMA. But how should I recognize SMA Male and SMA Female heads? How shall we differ a Male and Female needle?

The difference between them is:

The standard SMA is "inner thread + needle", "outer thread + hole"

1. Standard SMA Male head + Male needle (SMA-J, or SMA Male)

2. Standard SMA Female head + Female needle (SMA-K, or SMA Female)

RP-SMA is "inner thread + hole", "outer thread + needle "

3. Reverse SMA Male head + Female needle (RP-SMA-J or RP-SMA Male)

4. Reverse SMA Female head + Male needle (RP-SMA-K or RP-SMA Female)

These are the common used  SMA connectors on our RF antennas. Welcome to contact us, and we'll be patient to answer your any question.
